In this first Hyphen Hub Event, audio-visual artists Mark Bolotin (Hyphen Hub co-founder) and Fredo Viola showcased and discussed their latest collaboration, The Cult/The Lumiphonic Creature Choir.
The work is based on Viola’s haunting new music and Bolotin’s giant, twelve-headed multimedia invention, The Lumiphonic Creature Choir. Together they created the visuals for the work, fusing Viola’s cluster visual techniques with Bolotin’s Creature projection mappings.
Note: Hyphen Hub’s original home, The Red Door on W 24th Street, closed its doors permanently in 2015.
